Jose Sixto Hernandez, 35, is a coffee producer from the Santa Cruz area of Lempira, Honduras. He’s been producing coffee since 2002 and owns a 10-year-old farm with 1.06 hectares of coffee production and .7 hectares of coffee seedlings. After harvesting only the ripest cherries, he processes his coffee using an artisanal wet mill located next to his house. He then dries his coffee on a patio or raised beds for 15 days and mills and exports it through Beneficio Santa Rosa.
